Photo booth with a QR code: real-time sharing
Taking the photo is great. Finding it on your phone within 10 seconds, ready to post as a story, is what your guests expect in 2026. That is exactly what the QR code option does: after each photo, a QR code appears on the booth’s screen. Scan, download, done. No app, no email address to type, no queue.
How it works, step by step
- Your guests take their photo or GIF on the booth, as usual
- The result appears on screen, with your event’s personalised frame
- A QR code appears next to the photo
- The guest scans it with their phone camera (iPhone or Android, nothing to install)
- The photo opens in HD on their phone: they save it, send it, post it
Meanwhile, the next group is already posing: the QR code does not slow down the queue.
What it changes for your event
Your guests become your messengers. Every scanned photo is a photo shared within the hour: on stories, in family group chats, on the company Slack. For a corporate event, that is instant visibility; for a wedding, it means photos circulating during the evening rather than the next day.
Nobody waits for the gallery. The download link sent after the event is still included in all our packages, but with the QR code, the most impatient guests do not have to wait.

The Wi-Fi point deserves a clarification: our booths work without Wi-Fi to take photos. On the 100% digital photo booth, the QR option needs a local Wi-Fi network (the venue’s, or a phone hotspot) to serve the photos in real time. Check this with your venue, or go for the included download link, which works everywhere.
QR code or printing: why not both?
The two options meet different wishes, and they combine very well:
- Printing gives the physical keepsake, the one that ends up on the fridge. Essential at a wedding.
- The QR code gives the instant digital photo, the one that goes out as a story during the evening.
