Privacy policy

This policy describes how BADABOOTH collects and processes your personal data in connection with its website badabooth.fr, the hire of its photo booths and the app installed on its booths, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés).

Data we collect

When you request a quote or make a booking: surname, first name, email address, phone number, delivery/event address, date and type of event, and payment-related information (payment is processed by our provider PayPlug; we do not store your card numbers).

During your event, through the app installed on the booth: the photos taken by you and your guests on the booth. The app does not require any account or personal login; it also collects technical data on how the booth is working (model, status, battery level) for maintenance purposes.

When you browse the website: connection and browsing data through audience measurement tools (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity).

Purposes and legal bases

• Managing quotes, bookings, hires and deliveries: performance of the contract.
• Invoicing and accounting obligations: legal obligation.
• Providing and sharing the photos of your event: performance of the contract.
• Customer support, service follow-up and handling of any incidents: legitimate interest.
• Audience measurement and website improvement: consent (cookies).

Recipients and processors

Your data is never sold. It may be processed by our technical providers, solely for the needs of the service:

• Hosting and database: Vercel, Supabase
• Sending emails: Resend
• Online payment: PayPlug
• Photo sharing: Smash
• Booth delivery: UPS, Mail Boxes Etc. (MBE)
• Audience measurement: Google, Microsoft Clarity

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union; in that case, appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses) govern these transfers.

Retention period

• Booking and contact data: for the duration of the business relationship, then archived in line with legal time limits.
• Accounting documents and invoices: 10 years (legal obligation).
• Event photos: made available through a temporary link (valid for about 14 days), then deleted from our sharing spaces.
• Audience measurement data: according to the lifetime of the cookies concerned.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, write to us at hello@badabooth.fr.

You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).

Cookies
