Kruu vs Badabooth: which photo booth should you choose?

The fundamental difference: printing or not
This is THE point that separates the two. Kruu doesn’t offer printed photos. Your guests take a photo, scan a QR code and get a digital link. It’s neat, it’s modern, but nobody leaves with a photo in their hand.
Badabooth prints every photo instantly. In 10 seconds, your guests have their physical photo. It’s that tangible keepsake (stuck on the fridge, slipped into a wallet) that gives a photo booth its charm.
This isn’t a hunch: across the 327 Badabooth events whose counters we recorded, guests leave with 1.5 to 2 prints each on average. The paper goes, every time, and it goes even when the digital gallery is available at the same time. (see the detailed figures)
Prices in detail

| Premium | €299 (offer) | Yes (300-400 photos) | Yes |
The crossed-out prices (€249, €389, €449) and the permanent promo code suggest that the “offer” prices are in fact the normal prices.

Like for like
For a wedding with fast printing and ~400 photos:
- Kruu Premium: €299 (+ Wi-Fi needed, delivery extra)
- Badabooth 400-photo large booth: €359 (delivery included, no Wi-Fi, prepaid return included, 7-day support, Made in France)
In the end, Badabooth works without Wi-Fi, includes the prepaid return and offers better French support.
Wi-Fi: the crucial point
Kruu needs a Wi-Fi connection to work. Badabooth works 100% offline.
Why it matters: the châteaux, barns, estates and gardens where most weddings take place often have no reliable Wi-Fi. If the connection drops, Kruu stops working. Badabooth carries on without interruption.
