- Photo booth note: ideal setup in the orangery or on the covered terrace. Several of our clients have held their wedding there with Badabooth.

Twenty minutes from Lyon, this château built in the golden stone typical of the region offers a wooded park and a stunning view over the Lyon plain.
- Capacity: 80 to 200 guests

How to choose your wedding venue around Lyon
A few criteria that keep coming up with our clients:
| Criterion | What to watch out for |
|---|---|
| Number of guests | Overestimate the maximum capacity by 10% to keep some space |
| Season | Beaujolais and Monts d’Or = May to October is ideal |
| Accessibility | Plan a shuttle if the venue is far from Lyon |
| Accommodation | Châteaux with rooms = a huge plus for guests |
| Electricity | At least one free, accessible socket near the entertainment area |
| Signal / Wi-Fi | Often absent in châteaux, so plan for self-contained equipment |
And where does the photo booth fit in?
In Lyon and the Beaujolais, the vast majority of the weddings we equip take place in venues where Wi-Fi is weak or non-existent: châteaux, vaulted cellars, isolated estates. That is exactly why the Badabooth works completely on its own: no connection needed, just a power socket.
Our packages for a Lyon wedding:
- 150 fast photos (€244): for weddings of up to 100 guests (the most common choice in the Beaujolais)
- 400-photo large booth (€359): for large weddings of 150-200 guests (Château de Bagnols, Hangar du Premier Film)
Delivery 1 to 2 days before your date, straight to the address of the estate or château. Prepaid return included: after the wedding, you simply drop the box off at a UPS Access Point.
Frequently asked questions
Can you set up a photo booth in a château without Wi-Fi? Yes, in fact it is the typical case. The Badabooth prints the photos directly, with no connection. You receive all the digital photos via a link after the event.
How far ahead of the wedding should you book the venue? In the Beaujolais and the Monts d’Or, Saturdays from May to September are often booked 12 to 18 months in advance. Outside the peak season, 6 months is usually enough.
Can you set up the photo booth outdoors? Not recommended: humidity and wind can damage the printed photos. Choose a covered spot (orangery, marquee, adjoining room).
Are there wedding planners who specialise in the Beaujolais / Lyon? Yes, several. We can recommend some if needed: contact us at hello@badabooth.fr.
